Introduction
The twenties in the United States, referred to as the Roaring Twenties, was a time of economic stability and optimism for Americans. People devoted their time to many newfangled inventions that came along. Hollywood and stardom was on the rise as more and more people relied on TVs and cameras. One important invention that many continue to overlook is the polygraph examination, or in more common terms, the lie detector.
